Petra Marine Australia

Petra Marine Australia Pty Ltd (PMA) is an Australian company with shareholders who include the Malaysian offshore marine operator Petra Perdana Berhad, Mr Craig Maddison and Australian marine operator TUCF. PMA’s remit is to supply AHTS and Supply Vessels over 40m to the Offshore Marine Industry.

The formation of PMA is a natural progression of the strong relationship between both Petra and TUCF. PMA represents the synergy between its shareholders and a mature history in the Offshore Marine Industry.

The Malaysian based Petra is an owner and operator of a substantial fleet of offshore support vessels through Intra Oil Services Berhad (IOS). Vessels include accommodation and crane barges, and anchor handling and supply vessels and maintenance vessels. Petra brings its valuable engineering and technical support to PMA.

TUCF provides the local knowledge, logistics and administration as well as experienced individuals in the Offshore Marine Industry and the Upstream Oil and Gas Industry; and all their talent is transferred into PMA. As a company TUCF also boasts a well founded history of managing vessels.

TUCF and Petra Perdana Berhad from Malaysia formed a partnership in 2007 to exclusively market and operate Petra vessels in Australia and abroad. This partnership was formalised into a new company, Petra Marine Australia Pty Ltd (PMA), on 01 July 2008.

As necessary, both TUCF and Petra continue to support PMA in the management of safety, marketing, operations, engineering, technical, crewing, financial, and administration.
